Questions you didnt know you had
-
As soon as you want! I do hold prime Saturdays for weddings 6+ months in advance. But less than 6 months out you can book any available Saturday.
-
Make sure you have extra time incase hair and makeup goes long. I recommend the bride to get hair and makeup done in the middle of the group because if it goes long we don’t want to be held up on photos if they’re running late.
Updo’s are fantastic because if its windy your hair wont be blowing everywhere
Fake Lashes make your eyes pop SO much and make a HUGE difference in photos. Don’t be afraid of them many makeup artists have pairs that look very natural!
Be wary of contour. Most makeup artists do a great job, but if they dont blend enough it will leave a weird shadow on your face, and if you want it edited out it will be an additional fee
-
NO!! Be aware when you purchase your veil & dress & if you’re buying a belt or any other accessores, especially online! There are so many different whites, some have warm tones, some have cool tones so when you put them together you can really tell the difference. So Ensure your whites match before the wedding day!
-
If you’re looking to tighten up your coverage, there’s a few things you can do…
eliminate travel - Rent an Air BnB and get ready near the venue
Do the first dances right as you come into dinner - this way you don’t need the photographer to stick around for dancing
The most important thing is to find out what’s most important to you and ensure that you get the moments you want captured. But there are ways to trim the fat
-
My recommendation - if you’re not against a first look, then do it. Some couples love to be traditional. But if you aren’t sticking with tradition I say it’s the way to go. It allows you to get to the fun with your guests sooner!
-
For formal photo time I do recommend a minimum of 45 M for couple portraits, 30 m for the bridal party & 30 m for family photos.
You might need more time if you have a very large family or bridal party. It is better to plan too much time than too little.
I recommend scheduling in buffer time throughout the day so we don’t have to sacrifice photography if things run late.
-
Its crucial I show up 30 minutes before the bride not only so I can shoot details but also so I can ensure I have enough time to set up my equipment for the space.
-
No problem! Shoot me an email and we can schedule you a call & we can review your time line together!

Yes, you can. But please make sure that your vendors know they can ONLY use the images for social media. If they would like to use them for advertising or their website please give them my email so they can contact me directly.
